Archbishop Anil J.T.Couto at the inauguration of the Nash Technology Hospital

The Nash Technology Hospital, Sunyani, attained an important milestone in its transition to a Super Specialty Hospital on 14 July 2015 when the new Nastech Lab facility headed by the renowned Cardiologist , Dr. Mohan Nair and his team of Specialists including Dr. Amitabh Yaduvanish and Dr. Vikas Kataria under  the leadership of Fr. George P.A (Director) and Dr. Warsi (Medical Superintendent) was inaugurated.

The function commenced at 10 am. His Grace Archbishop Anil J.T Couto inaugurated and blessed the Cath Lab with prayers and a reading from the Holy Bible along with Fr. George P.A., Director, Fr. Sherin Thomas and Fr.Arockia Das, Assistant Directors as the hymns echoed  “Walking with the Lord….Living new life….. Building new bridges…Walking distant miles…..in the presence of  eminent guests, priests, board members, doctor and staff of the hospital.

The ribbon was cut by His Grace followed by sprinkling of the Holy Water on the high tech Siemens Artis Zee Flat Detector with “Pure” technology, the first of its kind of installation in India. Apart from all forms of angiography and angioplasty, the lab is also equipped to do complex diagnostic and curative treatment for abnormalities of heart beat (electro physiology and radio frequency ablation). The whole hospital was indeed thrilled and overjoyed to carry forward with added responsibilities.

Sweets were distributed to commemorate the auspicious followed by ”High Tea”. Believe it or not on the very first day three coronary angiograms were performed in the Cath Lab which proved that this was necessity and the need of the time for the community at large. Starting the Cath Lab was the long cherished desire of the hospital and our well wishes and finally it materialized by the tremendous efforts of Fr.George, The Director, Dr Warsi and the entire management team of the hospital.

May Our Lady of Good Health inspire and guide us to carry forward this mission and we wish the management add many more specialties and lead the hospital to greater heights.
