Department of Psychiatry :

Psychiatry department is one of the oldest department of the hospital and for last ten year it is registered with state mental health authority under mental health Act (1987) to have ten indoor beds facility.

This year Dr. Neena Bohra was award Distinguished Service Award by Delhi Medical Association for her - standing contribution.

Dr. Neelam K. Bohra chaired an National Conference Psychology 2015 inaugurated by H.E A.P.J Kalam and was attended by 450 psychologists.

Dr. N.K Bohra is now Patron of Delhi Psychiatric Society.

We organized Schizophrenia Day on 23 May 2015 for benefit & hospital, Caregivers and student nurses same of hospital ward and OPD Nurses were award prize for their services.

Department provides indoor and outpatient services to patients suffering from various Psychiatric illnesses including Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Schizophrenia, Obsessive, Compulsive Disorder dementia, Psychosexual disorders, Drug & Alcoholic Deaddiction, Marital and Relationship Problem Psychosomatic illnesses etc.

• Psychotherapy & Counseling.
• Abreaction and Narcotherapy
• Modified Electro Convulsive Therapy

Training to Interns for 15 Days each.
